Funding for the company will come from “families with over fifty years of publishing experience and are committed to the long-term growth of the company,” according to Erewhon, with distribution provided by Workman Publishing, home of Algonquin Books, publisher of ‘Water for Elephants.’ She will be joined by editorial assistant Jillian Feinberg and Peter Burri, founder of independent press The Experiment, who will serve as business advisor. Gorinsky, who has been nominated seven times in the prestigious Hugo Awards category Best Editor (Long Form) – she won in 2017 – will act as president and publisher of the new company.
